Speed2Leads Article Publisher puts your article in LinkedIn’s editor.
A free Chrome extension for Speed2Leads clients. Click Open in LinkedIn in your portal and LinkedIn’s article editor opens with the cover, title, caption and text already in place. You read it over, click Next, then click Publish.
It needs a Speed2Leads account. On its own, it does nothing.
What does the Speed2Leads Article Publisher do?
The Speed2Leads Article Publisher is a free Chrome extension for clients who have Speed2Leads write their LinkedIn articles. It moves a finished article from your Speed2Leads portal into LinkedIn's article editor, so you don't have to copy the title, paste the text, download the cover image and upload it again by hand.
You start it from your portal: approve the article, then click Open in LinkedIn. A new tab opens on LinkedIn's editor, the extension checks that you're signed in as the article's author, and then it fills in the cover, the title, the caption and the article text. You read it, change anything you like, and click Next and then Publish yourself. Once the article is live, the extension saves its link back to your portal so you never paste it in.
It never posts on its own, it never sees your LinkedIn password, and it runs only on LinkedIn's article editor and your Speed2Leads portal.
From your portal to Publish, with no copying and pasting.
Open it from your portal
Approve a finished article in your Speed2Leads portal, then click Open in LinkedIn. A new tab opens on LinkedIn's article editor.
Let it fill in the editor
It first checks that you're signed in to LinkedIn as the article's author. If you're signed in as someone else, it stops and fills in nothing, and if it can't tell who is signed in, it says so and asks you to check. Otherwise it adds the cover image, title, caption and article text. If it ever can't add the text, it tells you, and you paste it in from your portal.
Read it, then publish
Change anything you want, click Next, then click Publish. The publisher picks up your new article's link and saves it to your portal, so there's nothing to copy back.
What it will and won’t do
- Works only on LinkedIn's article editor and your Speed2Leads portal. It can't see your feed, messages, contacts or any other website.
- It never posts for you; you always click Publish yourself.
- It never sees or stores your LinkedIn password or login.
- It sends us only the link to the article you published (with a one-time code that ties it to your article), and anything you type into “Something's wrong” or “I have an idea” (with a few details about the problem so we can fix it).
- We don't sell, share, rent or track anything. No ads, no analytics, no trackers; our own hosting, database and email providers handle it only to run the service.
- Uninstall any time from your browser's extensions page; nothing is left behind.
The privacy policy covers each piece of information in detail.
Who it’s for
Speed2Leads clients who have us write their LinkedIn articles. The publisher only acts when you click Open in LinkedIn inside your portal, so it needs a Speed2Leads account to do anything. On a LinkedIn tab you opened yourself, it stays out of the way.
No extension, or working from a phone? Your portal still shows the copy-and-paste steps for every article. They take a few more minutes and end in the same place.

Questions about the publisher
Is it safe?
It runs in two places only: LinkedIn's article editor and your Speed2Leads portal. It can't see your feed, messages, contacts or any other website. It never sees or stores your LinkedIn password, and it never clicks Publish. Everything it does happens in your own browser, in your own signed-in account, and you can remove it whenever you like.
Does it post for me?
No. It fills in the editor and then stops. You always click Next and Publish yourself, so nothing goes out under your name until you send it.
What does it send you?
Two things. After you publish, it sends us the link to your new article so it shows up in your portal. If you use “Something's wrong” or “I have an idea” in the extension's menu, it sends what you typed, plus your browser and extension version, the step it was on, any error message, and the address of the page without anything after the question mark. It never sends your LinkedIn login or anything from your feed, messages or contacts.
Does it work on my phone?
No. Phone browsers don't run Chrome extensions. On a phone, open the article in your portal and follow the copy-and-paste steps. They take a few minutes longer and get you to the same Publish button.
Which browsers does it work in?
Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop, version 116 or newer. Microsoft Edge and Brave can install extensions from the Chrome Web Store and it should work there too, but Chrome is where we test it. It isn't available for Safari or Firefox.
How do I remove it?
In Chrome, right-click the green bolt icon in your toolbar and choose Remove from Chrome, or open the Extensions page and click Remove. Nothing is left behind in your browser. Article links it already saved stay in your portal as part of your article records.
Ready when your next article is
Install it once, and the next time an article is ready in your portal, Open in LinkedIn does the copying for you.
